seventy years after

Lest I fail to be online tomorrow (sort of an update of the standard existentialist observation, I suppose), I shall take the occasion of St. Andrew's Day to note tomorrow's significant anniversary. It will leap to attention if you peruse the Birthdays portion of the Wikipedia entry for "December 1."
