I see that it was announced in December that Patrick Leigh Fermor's final volume of the great trilogy A Walk to Constantinople from the Hook of Holland (not that anybody calls it that) is scheduled for publication in September 2013. We hope. By then the world may possibly have gone through several convulsions that have nothing to do with Mayan prophecies.
