bouncing back and forth

I tend to be posting edited versions of most of my friends-only posts on joculum.dreamwidth.org, though not of all of them. Not to drive traffic away from LiveJournal but the opportunity to make my few main points more succinctly and hopefully more clearly is irresistible.

Continue to expect all sorts of oddities on this journal, however. And happy new year to the Eastern Orthodox ecclesiastics and to practitioners of Judaism, although it isn't quite Rosh Hashanah yet. (The new liturgical year begins today for the Eastern Church, unlike the Western Church, for which it begins with the first Sunday in Advent.)
