I am disinclined to post much these days until I know what I am talking about, which ensures that nothing at all will be posted, though bits of it have gotten written.
This morning, though, I discovered the first new post in a while from the textile artist who has been documenting every station on the London Underground as time and money permit. The mix of social activism in the Olympic Boroughs and the characteristically English quality of gentrifying, down at the heels Hackney Wick makes this post a natural for my few anglophile readers (I have one reader of Scots descent who will most likely hate this one):
