In case you were wondering....

I've decided to let my more massively theoretical posts sit for a very long while before posting, something I'm sure most of you wish I had decided upon sooner. What with art-writing deadlines, some of the less theoretical posts have never even gotten written. (DJ Spooky and Marina Abramovic, anyone? both of whom got wildly different responses from the people in their respective audiences, Abramovic most of all because she didn't stick to her announced topic of the future of performance art but instead talked about what kind of attitude towards your own body it takes to be a performance artist, and why she intends to found an educational institution devoted to that kind of transformation of consciousness and perception.)

Plus all of this seems beside the point in terms of the news stories I am following. About which it would be superfluous for me to say anything.
