not an update, but an explanation

I've given my card out to so many people in the last few weeks, people who might choose to access the two weblog URLs on it, that I am trying to streamline the joculum weblog, for the sake of those few newcomers who are inclined to swim upstream and figure out what this journal is all about.

Newcomers looking for posts about art should mostly go to the counterforces.blogspot site, though there are a few remarks here regarding design in a few posts that are now much closer to this post than they were previously.

The seemingly deleted posts have simply been changed in status, so anyone who remembers one of them enough to be looking for it in vain can simply add a comment here and I'll restore the post or copy the information to you.
